So today while watching YouTube. I got a suggestion for the Project Volterra. From the first impression its looks similar to mac m1 mini. Mean finally something that compete against the Apple. The design is so similar to mac M1. Let see more about that. All the information I gather form the internet and it is still not available for the general public. There is no date is announced by the Microsoft’s about the launch of this device.

What is Project Volterra?

Project Volterra is the Microsoft’s Arm kit that comes with the Snapdragon SoC. It also built-in neural processing unit (NPU) built by Qualcomm to perform the powerful AI and ML task. The project looks so promising. As per the rumours the product code name is Black Rock and it’s built by the Surface team in partnership with Qualcomm.

As of now there are not lots of specs and feature is available in the public. Due to current chip shortage it will take time to come to general public.

First batch will definitely come to United state and later on it will come to other counties.

Project Volterra Design and feature?

Build is not as great as MacBook M1 Mini as it is made form the plastic. Specially from the ocean plastic waste. So it will also save the earth. The pricing is still not confirm from the Microsoft’s and also not the launch date. It is come barebone without any keyboard, mouse and display. but if it come similar to power of MacBook M1 Mini. It will so interesting to watch.

By looking the video there are lots of port available so there be no issue of port. As of now Microsoft’s confirm to run the below arm based software.
